85/15 Comprehensive Campaign (Gym & Annual Fund) – During 2007/08 we have implemented a $2.75 million “comprehensive campaign.” Such a campaign, will permit LVCHS donors to support both our “Rounding out the Vision” project to build the first ever gymnasium for LVCHS as well as a portion of each donated dollar going towards our annual fund (operating costs and vital tuition assistance program). In other words for every dollar donated, .85 cents will go towards funding the new gym with the remaining .15 cents directed towards other important school needs.

We are very excited about playing our indoor Cougars sports (basketball and volleyball) on our own home court. In addition, the planned 12,000 sq. ft. faculty will also be used for commencement exercises, student concerts and community outreaches. The total project gym cost is $2.3 million dollars. It is our hope to build the gym before the end of 2009. Your contribution will make our dream come true faster!

Technology - LVCHS is in the midst of new technological improvements. We seek to replace older computers and monitors with faster CPUs and flat screens with accompanying Windows Vista® software. We also are adding new interactive whiteboards, such as SMART-Boards in the classrooms to create a more interactive, dynamic teaching environment. We hope you can help!
